Cats are Coming to Mouse City!

Our popular model city-building workshop, Mouse City, is a fun way for kids and families to explore real-life civic issues, ranging from improving public transit to sustainable development. Join us on Sunday, March 1, when Mouse City tackles its biggest urban planning challenge yet: the arrival of cats!

Will the new, feline citizens force longstanding residents of Mouse City to flee? Or will the cats and mice work together to rejuvenate their hometown? To frame these questions, we’ll read aloud John Sobol‘s acclaimed picture book, Friend or Foe? Urban planners aged 4-12 can develop their own answers as they build a model city out of recycled craft materials.

Cat & Mouse City takes place on Sunday, March 1, 10am-noon, at Daniels Spectrum (585 Dundas St East – across from Regent Park). Admission is FREE. No registration. All materials provided.
