Roald Dahl‘s novel Matilda, inspired a musical currently taking Broadway by storm. And Danny Devito turned it into a hit movie. Vikki VanSickle Launch

VanSickle-Launch-on-Wall-RESIZED-WEBThe arrival of a new novel by Vikki VanSickle is cause for celebration.  And what better way to greet her latest offering, a 1960s-era tale entitled Summer Days, Starry Nights, than with a reading by Vikki, a stack of vinyl loaded with hits of the time, and a performance by  Miranda Mulholland, of Great Lake Swimmers and Belle Starr fame?

Little City Festival takes a Siesta

Little City Festival StiltwalkerOver the past four years, the Little City Festival has blossomed from a party in Sorauren Park to a gigantic annual festival. Such phenomenal growth is due to the herculean efforts of our co-presenters at The Little Paper and Rooster Studios, as well as the generous support of enough artists, sponsors and volunteers to populate a small city.

Just as Spanish towns rejuvenate daily by taking a siesta, the Little City team has opted to take 2013 off to recharge its collective battery. See you in 2014!
