Create Your Own Superhero at The 519

BAM! POW! ZAP! Everyone knows Wonder Woman, Spiderman and the Flash, but superheroes can come in all shapes and sizes. What does it take to be a superhero in today’s Toronto?

Writers aged 6-9 can invent their own superheroes with noted author-illustrator Evan Munday, creator of the much lauded The Dead Kid Detective Agency series for young readers, at DIY Superhero Lab – a workshop we’re presenting with The 519 (519 Church Street, at Wellesley) on Saturday, December 2, from 10am-noon.  The FREE session will focus on the one thing that superheroes from The Avengers to The X-Men have in common: an incredible story.

The 519’s Kids & Youth Action and Arts Space offers fun, friends and cool opportunities for LGBTQ and Trans families. For more information and to register, click here.
