SPOOKY STEW is bubbling up…

Why wait until Halloween to put on a costume and chant something rhythmic?

Acclaimed poet Claire Caldwell conducts Spooky Stew, a Halloween-themed version of our popular rap-poetry workshop Rhyme Stew Crew for writers aged 7-12, at The Children’s Book Bank (350 Berkeley Street – at Parliament & Gerrard) on Saturday, October 28: 1-3pm. FREE with RSVP. Click here or visit the Book Bank.

Claire will guide young writers through the process of setting classic children’s verses, like “Green Eggs and Ham,” to vintage hip-hop beats, and, then help them create their very own rhymes and set them to beats.

SCARY STEW is where the ghost of Dr Seuss haunts the spirit of Dr Dre. BOO!

Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged.

Space is limited. Sign up early by clicking here or by visiting the Children’s Book Bank.
