Let’s Take Over City Hall’s Rotunda – A Call for Volunteers

We’re taking over Toronto City Hall’s Rotunda for a whole weekend as part of this year’s Doors Open Festival (May 27-28).  It will be the construction site of Mouse City Chronicles, five consecutive model city-building workshops. Each one will be inspired by a 30 year period in Toronto history, from 1867 to today. By the end of Doors Open 2017, the Rotunda will house a five-part model of a make-believe metropolis, Mouse City, that mirrors the growth of our real-life city over the past 15 decades.

Volunteers who like working with children in educational and artistic contexts are welcome to join us in our takeover of City Hall’s Rotunda for the Doors Open weekend May 27 & 28. We need several volunteers on-hand to guide them through the planning, designing and building stages of the city planning process.
